WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING:

At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you’ll discover the real differentiator is our culture. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career.

THE ROLE:

At AMD, we push the limits of what’s possible—and that includes how we grow our people. As a Technical Training Program Manager, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on role in shaping the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our engineering and technical teams.

You’ll design and execute high-impact learning programs that accelerate innovation, improve technical readiness, and strengthen leadership capability across a fast-paced, technology-driven organization. Partnering closely with business leaders, engineers, and HR partners, you’ll bring together the best of digital learning, AI-enabled design, and data insights to deliver transformative learning experiences that drive performance.

If you’re passionate about using learning as a catalyst for innovation—and thrive in environments where technology and people intersect—this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on how AMD develops its talent for the future.

THE PERSON:

You are a strategic and agile L&D professional who thrives in a fast-moving technology environment. You combine systems thinking with strong execution skills, able to translate business needs into structured learning strategies that deliver measurable results.

You are data-driven, digitally fluent, and comfortable leveraging AI tools and analytics to enhance learning impact. You collaborate across functions with credibility and influence—and bring a mindset of curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement to everything you do.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide technical learning programs.
  • Partner with business and technical leaders to define skill needs and create structured learning pathways that align with AMD’s strategic priorities.
  • Drive operational excellence in program management—ensuring all programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Integrate digital and AI-enabled learning tools to enhance content curation, personalization, and engagement.
  • Manage relationships with program sponsors, vendors, internal facilitators, and subject matter experts to ensure program relevance and excellence.
  • Establish clear metrics and dashboards to measure participation, skill progression, and business impact.
  • Continuously improve learning programs through evaluation, analytics, and learner feedback.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management within a technology or semiconductor environment.
  • Proven ability to lead complex learning programs in fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms, learning analytics, and AI-assisted learning tools.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical skill needs into effective learning interventions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and capability frameworks preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or MBA) is an advantage.

LOCATION:

Singapore
