THE ROLE:

As a member of the Ser Des IP design team, you'll interface with various engineering groups, including architecture, design, CAD, software, and product engineering, across various geographies to work towards the physical/electrical verification and tape out of AMD Ser Des IP devices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Common essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executing IP and Macro top level physical and electrical verification
• Perform EM/IR analysis for transistor-level and gate-level designs
• 3DIC power integrity design and analysis
• System power delivery co-design of Chip with Interposer and Package
• Provide tool/flow support to designers, helping them debug issues in EM/IR
• Work with EDA tool vendors to drive bug-fixes and tool enhancement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits and designs. Knowledge with high-speed analog designs, and advanced technologies.

• Knowledge of and/or experience with design and verification tools with Virtuoso/Unix/Analog Design/Layout/Scripting

• Knowledge and experience with basic Unix data management and job control

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related equivalent
