THE ROLE:

This position is responsible for Product Quality and Reliability of AMD semicustom product. This individual will support local customers with product quality and reliability issues, RMA and FA requests, monitor & analyze quality data to meet product quality goal. THE PERSON:

You will track customer provided product quality data, monitor RMA and communicate failure analysis report to key stakeholders. The person will also support quality surveys and product shipment related documentation support. This role allows the opportunity to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams at AMD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track and analyze product quality and reliability data provided by customer.
• Communicate RMA data, FA results to internal and external stakeholders to drive quality improvement.
• Prepare materials shipment list from the system and communicate to customers.
• Manage preparing shipment parameter sheet.
• Participate in product quality improvement activities.
• Follow up quality issues reported by customer, resolve to root cause, corrective actions, and preventive actions in 8D manner.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to understand his expectations and the reported problem.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Work experience in semi-conductor industry or electronics or any other manufacturing industry in either quality, product engineering, or customer support role.
• Experience with data analysis and skill in using Microsoft excel are strongly preferred
• Knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing process is plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Japanese
• Business communication level English

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's or Master's in related discipline.
