The focus of this role is to plan, implement, and execute the Physical design and verification of processing subsystems IP, resulting in meeting the signoff criteria for tapeout.

Description:

    SOC Physical Design Engineer with a robust background in full-chip physical verification, full-chip RDL & clocking.

The ideal candidate will have over 8-12 years of experience and excel in the following areas:

Perform SOC partition cleanup & provide feedback to partitions to ensure faster convergence.

Handle analog cell placement, route planning, and design implementation, including cleanup tasks.

Execute custom design routing, resistance fixes, IR drop fixes, IP integration, and LV3DIC die-to-die bump planning.

Manage FCRDL and 3DRDL Flow, FC convergence, and provide feedback on LVS, DRC, antenna, and density.

Conduct RDL routing, DRC fixes, antenna adjustments, RV fixes, and interface fixes.

Collaborate with packaging teams, physical design, and third-party IP vendors to finalize FCRDL.

Demonstrate proficiency in 3DIC custom routing, bump planning, TSV planning, insertion, and routing.

Automate manual checks to reduce effort and enhance design robustness.
