This role provides comprehensive Executive Assistant support to executives in AMD Japan, primarily supporting the Corporate Vice President, Business Development and the Business Development Director.

In addition to executive support, the position is responsible for executing local Business Operations in Japan, in alignment with guidelines from the Senior Director, Product Management.

This role reports directly to the Japan Corporate Vice President, Business Development.

You demonstrate sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and consistently deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Manage complex scheduling for internal and external meetings, events, and executive calendars

  • Coordinate closely with the SIE Executive Office for cross-organizational activities

  • Arrange domestic and international travel, events, and visitor support

  • Handle expense reporting, cost management, and audit-related support

  • Business Operations & Customer Support

  • Support local S3 business operations in Japan in coordination with global stakeholders

  • Gather and analyze Client TAM data; liaise with external organizations (e.g., JCSSA)

  • Provide operational support for customers, including:

  • Shipment and supply coordination with Customer Operations

  • Quote, PO, invoicing, and payment processing

  • EMS communication support

  • Licensing and semi-custom customer RMA handling

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • *MS Office Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • *Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally across all organizational levels
  • *Multitasking & Time Management: Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • *Discretion & Confidentiality: Trusted handler of sensitive and confidential information
  • *Attention to Detail: Meticulous, thorough, and quality-focused in all deliverables
  • *Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong service orientation with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • *Organizational Strength: Highly organized, proactive, and deadline-driven
