Have you ever looked at a price in our Amazon store and wondered why that price? Are you excited about building systems and driving customer facing improvements at scale that impacts millions of customers worldwide? If so, Retail Pricing is the right team for you!

The Retail Pricing team prices everything shipped and sold by Amazon, worldwide and cross-format. Our goal is to earn long term customer trust by offering the best prices to customers, across hundreds of millions of prices everyday. The ideal candidate loves to think big, and has a passion for solving complex problems. They work backwards from customer/pricing problems. They actively collaborate with partner teams to drive towards successful program execution. They establish critical mechanisms to ensure alignment across teams, along with preparing strategic debates across partner teams and leadership. Successful candidates should thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment oriented around delivering better prices to customers worldwide.

  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints.

  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

  • Present debates to senior executives and drive alignment with Amazon’s strategic objectives.
