We are looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect (SA) to join our team. You will be the trusted partner working shoulder to shoulder with our customers and advising them on how to best achieve performance at scale.

Candidates should have a proven track record of working with large consumer brands across a range of categories with a deep understanding and network in e Commerce. As a Solutions Architect, you will influence the future of Amazon Supply Chain Services by collaborating at the intersection of customers, partners, product, and engineering. This role involves up to 25% travel, including customer site visits, industry conferences, and team meetings at various locations.

The role requires deep technical expertise, a strong sense of technical evangelism, and a relentless commitment to long term customer outcomes. You will be expected to quickly understand technical architectures, research, build, and deliver proof of concept solutions to pattern and guide and shape the customer journey. You should be a passionate tinkerer, and be able to dive deep, speaking to builder patterns and practices with fluency.

The ability to build repeatable artifacts, and assess deliverables as a force multiplier is a critical skill for the Solutions Architect role. You should have a demonstrated ability to think about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. As part of the SA community you will capture and share best practices with your peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in evangelist and workshop activities to grow the community.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have a strong background in cloud services, app integration, API fundamentals, and be able to demonstrate technical excellence when building scalable architectures.
• Be a passionate communicator, advisor, and advocate for the Customer.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Software Development.
• Have experience working with e Commerce and Supply Chain solutions.
• Be passionate about developing your peers, and participating in hiring.
• Drive feedback and influence product development, direction, and evolution.

Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) aims to enable organizations across the world with reliable, cost effective, and flexible end-to-end e Commerce fulfillment solutions in order to help them scale, succeed, and offer best in class experiences to their customers. MCF represents the core fulfillment capability of Buy with Prime (BwP), a new business initiative for Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
