We are seeking a talented and technical Senior AI Product Manager to lead our AI initiatives for the Shopbop Buying & Planning team. This role will spearhead AI-powered solutions to support the end-to-end merchandising process, and will manage our multi-year roadmap to determine our investment areas as we scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML product development, with proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives across organizations. This position will identify business opportunities, develop product strategies, and orchestrate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners across Shopbop and Zappos. The role will require strong communication skills and the ability to articulate business opportunities into technical requirements and translating technical concepts into business value, as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without authority, and drive alignment across teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Development
• Lead the development of AI-driven product strategies to improve the merchandising workflow
• Design and implement AI solutions that enhance success across our financial KPIs and deliver operational efficiency
• Manage our Buying and Planning automation roadmap and partner with business stakeholders and technical counterparts through the feature development process
• Lead discovery and design for new features and partner closely with buying and planning team to understand end-to-end workflow
• Lead continuous product optimization based on user feedback
• Drive effective communication of product strategy, roadmap, and impact analysis to leadership

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
