At Amazon Key, we are on a mission to empower customers to easily manage access to their homes and businesses. As part of the Amazon Devices and Ring organization, we invent new devices, software, and services to solve critical access problems for our customers.
As a Senior Product Manager-Tech, you will help build a product roadmap and a coherent customer experience across an array of applications. You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams, program managers, user experience designers, sales & marketing , and with other internal Amazon product stakeholders across the company, as well as with Key’s external network of partners & customers. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and who is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences. We’re looking for customer obsessed entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of product ownership, and want to have fun while making history.
It is still Day 1 at Amazon, and we need a creative problem-solver with exceptional judgment and the ability to deliver business results under ambiguous circumstances and tight timelines. The ideal candidate has a passion for access control combined with an established track record delivering break-out hardware & software experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Lead end-to-end product roadmap and execution plan
Define the long-term strategy and vision for customers using access control
Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities
Analyze market trends & customer feedback and usage metrics to identify pain points and feature improvement opportunities
Build innovative concepts and successfully champion them through senior management and other teams
Drive requirement definition and design
Define and own the business metrics and KPIs for our products and services
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, Quick Sight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
