Amazon Transportation Services Mexico is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive critical product launches in cross border operations and international supply chain. Today around 30% of our volume come from out of country selection and shipped through the cross border network. We are looking for an independent and innovative leader that has proven record of launching complex products within the cross border and global trade space.

This ideal candidate will need to have strong knowledge of Mexico imports regulations. They will scope, design, and launch products that comply with all regulatory framework. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end roadmap and must effectively communicate and negotiate with a large range of stakeholders, including legal, tax, tech, among others.

This is a unique opportunity to manage product launches with large impact for Amazon and its customers. This position drives regular communication with senior management, requiring strong communication skills (verbal and written) and executive presentation skills.

• Key job responsibilities
• Scope, design, plan, and manage the roll out of products (mid term and long term launches) to ensure cross border program continuity and growth.
• Own several end-to-end product roadmaps, while effectively prioritizing based on business needs
• Own weekly and monthly reporting of launches.
• Utilize data and anecdotes to uncover potential issues and drive action according to emerging trends.
• Negotiate and influence with various stakeholders and senior leaders to comply with program launch targets.
• Write and present business strategy documents
• Ensure compliance of all product launches, keeping up-to-date with frequently changing regulations and new legislations

A day in the life
Day-to-day activities can change as the business grows. The position will interact with Global Logistics, Mexico Supply Chain, and Stores to drive critical launches for cross border operations. They will provide project updates through written and verbal communication and own the metric for success, including compliance, cost optimization and operational continuity.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience owning technology products
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
