Position: HW Commodity Specialist II (multiple positions available) AMZ12202.8
Location: Florence, Kentucky
Multiple Positions Available:
- Design and execute the global onboarding process for all new AWS programs, leveraging end-to-end logistics capabilities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align program requirements with existing logistics infrastructure or develop tailored logistics solutions to ensure complete hardware delivery.
- Oversee multiple programs simultaneously, balancing customer priorities with AWS Cloud Logistics goals by coordinating cross-functional teams across procurement, sourcing, payments, trade compliance, taxes, transportation, brokerage, and warehousing.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify improvement opportunities, deliver written business proposals, and lead global initiatives focused on optimizing logistics costs and service performance.
- Develop demand forecasts and sourcing strategies to support customer needs effectively
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $97,427/year to $ 139,100/year)

Basic Qualifications
A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline and 2 years of experience in logistics management, or infrastructure operations, or supply chain management or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in logistics management, or infrastructure operations, or supply chain management or a related occupation.
Experience must include:
- 2 years of experience leading and owning cross-functional programs
- 2 years of experience owning the design, implementation, and optimization of initiatives at scale
- 2 years of experience with data mining and data analysis
- 2 years of experience in Microsoft Excel achieving advanced proficiency
- 2 years of experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access
The pay range for this position in Florence, Kentucky is $97,427/year to $ 139,100/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
