About the Role:
Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) at AWS are obsessed with accelerating customer cloud adoption and driving measurable value from cloud investments. As a CSM in Healthcare & Life Sciences, you'll partner with senior leaders and engineering teams at global organizations to strategize and manage their end-to-end cloud transformation journeys.
We help Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations adopt advanced cloud and AI solutions while migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Together with customers, we shape and execute strategies to build mindshare and broaden the use of AWS offerings across their enterprises.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Partnership & Leadership:
Take end-to-end ownership of diverse projects and initiatives, interfacing with core account teams including Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, product/engineering teams, and customer stakeholders
Establish deep understanding of your customer's business vision, culture, and processes to evangelize AWS services and influence adoption of the right solutions at the right time
Serve as the customer's cloud journey coach and be the voice of the customer within AWS, evangelizing customer needs to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams
Technical & Business Transformation:
Leverage your experience with large-scale transformations to shepherd customers through their AWS adoption stages, solving challenges through innovative ideas, skills, tools, and mechanisms
Frame deeply technical topics appropriately for different executive leaders (CIO, CFO, CMO, CTO, CISO) to drive alignment and decision-making
Advocate throughout AWS on behalf of customers, ensuring their success is prioritized across all touchpoints
Industry Expertise
Apply your fluency in the Life Sciences industry to translate business requirements into cloud solutions that address industry-specific challenges
Drive business outcomes focused on patient care, drug discovery, clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and healthcare innovation
Key job responsibilities
Experience & Qualifications:
Proven track record leading transformational projects with senior leadership at large enterprise organizations
Experience with cloud adoption at large enterprise organizations, with demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives
Fluency in the Life Sciences industry, including understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical workflows, and industry challenges
Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in technical or business field relevant to the HCLS industry.
AWS Solution Architect Associate certification (current or ability to earn within 90 days of hire)
Skills & Attributes:
Exceptional ability to lead through influence across diverse stakeholder groups
Critical thinking and self-motivation with proven ability to navigate ambiguity
Data-driven decision maker who uses metrics to measure success and drive improvements
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Innovative mindset with passion for solving complex customer challenges
Travel 15-30% as needed, primarily for customer facing events.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
- 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
- Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
