Most EA roles ask you to keep things running. This one asks you to help build something. As an Executive Assistant supporting a Life Sciences director, you'll handle the day-to-day executive support you'd expect — but you'll also be a core part of something bigger: shaping how our EA team operates, growing our community, and driving the kind of programmatic work (think space planning, events, org-wide initiatives) that actually moves the needle.
You'll be the go-to EA for a Life Sciences director — and as our leadership team continues to grow, so will your scope. This role is built to scale with us, meaning you'll have the opportunity to expand your support footprint as the org evolves.
You'll report directly to our Lead EA, which means you'll have a mentor, a collaborator, and a champion in your corner from day one. We're not just filling a seat — we're investing in someone's career. If you want to grow, we'll help you get there.
- Key job responsibilities
- Support a Life Sciences director with complex calendar management, travel coordination, and day-to-day executive needs
- Partner with the Lead EA on programmatic work — space planning, event management, and org-wide initiatives that have real impact
- Be a connector and resource for other EAs on the team — you'll help build the community, not just join it
- Anticipate what leadership needs before they ask and solve problems before they become problems
- Design and improve the processes that make our team run smarter
- Jump into cross-functional projects and strategic work that stretches your skills
A day in the life
No two days look the same — and that's the best part. You'll start by setting your director up for a seamless day, then pivot to something bigger: coordinating an org event, syncing with the EA team on a cross-org initiative, or building a process that makes everyone's lives easier. You're the person who spots the gap and fills it. By end of day, you'll know you moved something forward that actually matters.
