We are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager, Audience, to serve as the voice of the audience and drive Prime Video’s audience-centric marketing strategies. In this pivotal role, you’ll facilitate the transformation of Prime Video’s relationship with audiences by developing scaled strategies and marketing initiatives grounded in their needs, motivations, and barriers. You’ll act as the strategic architect, relationship builder, and audience champion while demonstrating customer obsession and serving as the bridge with cross-functional partners including Business, Product, Studios, Sports and the Service Strategy team.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise marketing strategies and campaigns, a proven track record of earning trust through cross-functional leadership, and data-driven approach to synthesizing insights into compelling strategies and approaches. You’ll dive deep into developing and evolving audience-specific strategic frameworks, directing campaigns that drive differentiated entertainment experiences across Prime Video, and bridging workstreams across the organization that enable audience-first thinking. This role offers the opportunity to think big and shape Prime Video’s audience relationships through strategic territories, learnings, and innovation. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with flawless execution, while demonstrating strong leadership abilities in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Lead development and socialization of audience-specific strategy briefs, coordinating across Studios, Sports, Business, Product, Service Strategy, and other functional teams
  • Serve as strategic partner and audience advocate, consulting on business needs to ensure audience-first thinking is embedded upstream in decisioning
  • Synthesize existing customer research and data to develop strategies and campaigns, working closely with Insights teams on any additional research needs
  • Direct campaigns inclusive of their features and tactics for priority audience initiatives, owning campaign strategies and cross-functional deliverables (briefs, GTMs, etc.)
  • Optimize cross-functional collaboration through mechanisms, process improvements, and strategic influence on stakeholders’ priorities
  • Drive quick, effective decision-making across teams while maintaining high standards and audience authenticity
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with global peers to share knowledge and scale impact
  • Demonstrate ownership and bias for action in support team campaign needs and audience advocacy
  • Establish yourself as a thought-leader in audience strategy and marketing needs, advocating for audience-first mindset
  • Navigate complex priorities while providing clear direction and strategic frameworks with stakeholder teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs
  • Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
  • Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Experience in the entertainment industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, campaign development, and audience journey mapping
  • Track record of measurable business impact through marketing programs and initiatives, particularly in building authentic relationships with customers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
