Amazon Ads is seeking an innovative, results-oriented professional with an excellent understanding of the digital advertising landscape to design, plan and execute operational strategy in support of the evolving Amazon Ads business. This person will act as a strategic partner to US Large Customer Sales Leadership, responsible for driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional initiatives, and enabling effective decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator, a strategic thinker who works effectively with limited direction and is known for exercising impeccable judgment. The ability to think big, execute at a tactical level, and effortlessly collaborate with various disciplines across the organization is critical to be successful in this role.
Key job responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership and translate business needs into clear project requirements that inform scalable and repeatable initiatives.
  • Assess category needs, challenges, and opportunities. Provide a point of view on recommended action plans
  • Plan, design, and run tactical execution of key initiatives building and managing roadmap to achieve results
  • Monitor progress against defined business metrics
  • Create and maintain executive-level communications related to strategic initiatives
  • Operational Excellence
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms aligned with centralized tooling and processes
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment across the team
  • Identify best practices and scale learnings across US LCS (and global locales, where applicable)
  • Business Analysis
  • Synthesize complex data into actionable insights for leadership
  • Partner with analytics teams to develop meaningful business metrics
  • Create executive summaries and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as key liaison between Sales leadership and cross-functional partners, when applicable
  • Manage executive communications and stakeholder relationships
  • Drive alignment across multiple levels of the organization

    The US Large Customer Sales Regional Sales Operation Team's mission is to identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth, drive efficiency, and to realize those opportunities through scalable strategies, mechanisms, and frameworks. The team is made up of individuals with a broad mix of experience and tenure, and we value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and partnership with our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
