AWS seeks an AWS Marketplace Channel Program Manager to support the execution and operational excellence of channel expansion initiatives with consulting partners (Resellers, SI/GSI, MSPs, and Distributors). This role will focus on day-to-day program management, process optimization, and operational support for AWS Marketplace channel programs including DSOR, CPPO, Pro Serv, and Channel Incentive Programs.
Key job responsibilities

DSOR Program Management
-
Own operational execution across DSOR workflows, including intake management, partner inquiries, and internal coordination

Structure and refine intake and workflow mechanisms to support scale and reduce manual triage

Maintain clear visibility into program status, dependencies, and risks through standardized tracking and reporting

Develop and maintain centralized enablement assets, FAQs, and self-service resources based on recurring partner patterns

Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements

Channel Incentive Program Support

Support operational execution for channel incentive programs

Manage program communications, partner inquiries, and documentation
-
Coordinate payout processes, validation workflows, and program closeout activities

Improve data access and reporting workflows to reduce manual dependencies

Ensure process consistency and documentation during program transitions

Process Documentation and Optimization
-
Document workflows across AWS Marketplace channel programs
-
Identify high-friction, repetitive tasks suitable for automation
-
Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles
-
Implement structured task and workflow management systems
-
Support the development of scalable processes that enable partner self-service

Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Partner teams
-
Serve as operational liaison between AWS Marketplace COE and Partner Organization
-
Support communication and coordination across global stakeholders
-
Escalate issues and dependencies to appropriate leadership channels
-
Contribute to best practices and GTM model development for consulting partners

Reporting and Governance
-
Establish and maintain centralized tracking for tasks, deadlines, and program metrics

Provide regular status updates on program health, operational load, and key risks
-
Maintain single source of truth for program documentation and transition materials
-
Support data-driven decision making through consistent reporting and analysis
A day in the life
You'll spend your day managing operational workflows for AWS Marketplace channel programs, responding to partner inquiries, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and identifying process improvements. You'll work with PDMs to resolve partner issues, update program documentation, track key metrics, and ensure smooth execution of channel incentive programs. Your focus will be on operational excellence, partner experience, and building scalable processes that support global channel growth.
About the team
The Channel Strategy team within the Consulting Partner Center of Excellence (CCOE) drives initiatives that address challenges and opportunities for AWS Consulting Partners. The team focuses on partner capability development, program execution, and operational excellence to scale AWS Marketplace adoption globally.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly to different audiences and work effectively across cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of program management, operations, or business development experience with demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with process documentation, workflow optimization, and operational excellence
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
- Experience with AWS Marketplace, cloud marketplaces, or partner/channel programs. Knowledge of consulting partner ecosystem (SIs, GSIs, Resellers, MSPs, Distributors)
- Familiarity with partner incentive programs and payout processes
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field
