This SDE - Mobile App Developer (iOS) position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. A successful candidate will bring Mobile App development expertise using React Native on Android & iOS, desire to have an industry wide impact, and ability to work within a fast moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

• Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for a new Mobile App using React Native on Android & iOS.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer focused experience on AWS Builder Center Mobile App.
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the platform's front-end components

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience with Mobile App

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
