The AVS Retail Vendor Specialist is a vital member of Amazon's Vendor Services team, focused on building and maintaining successful partnerships with vendors while driving mutual growth. Operating across five key pillars (Business Advice, Availability & Operational Excellence, Conversion, Traffic, and Catalog), this role serves as an essential link between Amazon and its vendors, ensuring efficient execution of core services and operational excellence. The position requires a strong foundation in e-commerce fundamentals and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for vendors. You'll help Amazon create the Earth's greatest shopping experience – a store featuring more products and brands with the most compelling content compared to any other online or offline store.
Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic vendors, serving as their primary point of contact and executing growth initiatives across the five AVS pillars
  • Work with functional experts to develop and implement Joint Business Plans that align with vendor business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations
  • Drive vendor adoption of Amazon tools and best practices to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure optimal inventory management and supply chain efficiency for assigned vendors
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and maintain service levels
  • Deliver weekly reporting with detailed commentary and specific action plans.
  • Execute basic marketing strategies to increase product visibility using Amazon's marketing tools

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce or account management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles
  • Background in customer relationship management
