We're seeking a Sr. Program Manager to serve as the execution leader for the Janus program. You'll be the single-threaded owner responsible for driving day-to-day program execution and scaling the program as it expands. You'll manage a complex, cross-organizational program that serves as a key partner to AWS, ensuring data center uptime by delivering AI-critical components and spare parts across facilities worldwide.

Orchestrate the Janus program to enable fulfillment operations to execute, grow, and scale effectively across all regions

Manage program performance against key metrics including inventory levels, delivery times, and cost targets

Coordinate complex logistics operations and implement standard operating procedures across global operations

Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Serve as primary point of contact for Janus across Supply Chain teams

Coordinate across engineering, operations, procurement, planning, finance, legal, and logistics teams to deliver integrated solutions

Build and maintain trust with stakeholders at all levels, providing timely status updates to senior leadership through the VP level

Influence without authority across multiple organizations and geographies to drive outcomes

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they impact program delivery

Handle complex escalations and make trade-off decisions between competing priorities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce damage rates and optimize operational costs

Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and resource allocation across global operations

Track performance against targets and report on program health to senior leadership
A day in the life
You start your morning reviewing program performance and identifying potential risks. You facilitate a cross-functional standup with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to clear blockers. Mid-morning, you present program status to VP-level stakeholders, highlighting growth trends and mitigation plans for supply constraints. After lunch, you work with procurement and planning teams to optimize inventory allocation decisions. You end your day building next quarter's plan and updating program documentation. Throughout, you're the connective tissue ensuring Amazon Web Services receives the components they need to keep data centers running.

- Supply Chain is Amazon's global technology fulfillment partner, providing end-to-end lifecycle management across thousands of locations worldwide. Our specialized fulfillment facilities in North America, Europe, and expanding Asia-Pacific regions handle complex configuration work, technical assembly, and rapid deployment for both planned launches and urgent operational needs.
The Janus program represents our flagship partnership with Amazon Web Services, delivering mission-critical components that keep data center infrastructure running. Our cross-functional teams span engineering, operations, procurement, planning, finance, legal, and logistics. We're building a team that thrives on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer obsession.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferred
- Background in technology infrastructure, data center operations, or hardware supply chains

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
