Amazon Now is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of customer experiences specifically designed for new customers in our quick commerce business. This role will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative product solutions that simplify and enhance the first-time user journey.
Key job responsibilities
- Customer Experience & Product Strategy
- Own the end-to-end product strategy for new customer acquisition and onboarding experiences across the Amazon Now platform
- Define and execute a product roadmap that reduces friction and accelerates time-to-first-order for new customers
- Leverage data analytics and customer insights to identify pain points in the new customer journey and develop solutions that drive conversion and engagement
- Design and implement personalized experiences that help new customers discover relevant products and understand the value proposition of quick commerce
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and business teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure product solutions are tailored to local market needs and customer preferences
- Work closely with data science teams to build predictive models and recommendation systems optimized for new customer behavior
- Coordinate with customer service teams to incorporate feedback and resolve customer pain points
- Metrics & Impact
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new customer acquisition, activation, and early retention
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize conversion funnels and customer engagement
- Analyze customer cohorts and behavioral patterns to inform product decisions and prioritization
- Drive measurable improvements in new customer conversion rates, order frequency, and customer lifetime value
- Innovation & Market Intelligence
- Stay current on quick commerce trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs in the Indian market
- Identify opportunities to differentiate Amazon Now's new customer experience from competitors
- Champion customer-centric innovation and advocate for new customer needs across the organization
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
