We’re seeking a UX Designer who is passionate about designing intuitive, human-centered experiences for AI-native business applications. This role focuses on owning end-to-end design for key features and customer journeys, translating complex AI capabilities into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and science to deliver high-quality customer experiences. You will balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals while contributing to scalable design patterns and evolving best practices in AI-driven experiences.
You should be comfortable working in AI-accelerated workflows, leveraging modern AI design tools, rapid prototyping environments, and “vibe coding” approaches to quickly explore, test, and refine ideas. - Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design of features and customer journeys within a service or solution, from discovery through delivery.
- Translate AI capabilities into clear, intuitive interaction flows that build user confidence and trust.
- Leverage AI-assisted design tools and rapid prototyping workflows (including vibe coding approaches) to accelerate exploration and validation.
- Create interactive prototypes or lightweight working experiences to test ideas early with customers and partners.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and applied scientists to define requirements and deliver high-quality experiences.
- Contribute to reusable design patterns, interaction models, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Validate concepts through research, usability testing, experimentation, and data analysis.
- Apply systems thinking within your scope to ensure designs fit cohesively within the broader product ecosystem.
- Present design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and incorporate feedback efficiently.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
- Experience in visual design expertise with ability to produce fresh, simple, elegant and exceedingly usable layouts and interactions and iconography
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience communicating technical concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals
- Comfortable using AI-powered design and prototyping tools to increase speed and quality of execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
- Experience designing AI-powered or intelligent systems.
- Experience with rapid prototyping approaches, including code-based or AI-assisted prototyping (e.g., vibe coding environments).
- Experience designing for trust, transparency, and human-in-the-loop systems.
- Experience contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
