Position: Inventory Planner I (multiple positions available)
Location: North Reading, MA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Create supply chain planning procurement capabilities that ensure our customers get what they want when they want it.
2. Responsible for all activities related to demand/supply planning from production forecasts to finished good delivery including day-to-day communication and management of OEM partners, as it relates to planning and order fulfillment within assigned planning segment.
3. Responsible for working within the local and remote Operations team driving planning and order fulfillment.
4. Manage segments of the master production schedule using the capacity plan, material clear to build report, and demand as inputs.
5. Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in supply plans pre-venting meeting order schedule.
6. Schedule and host meetings with manufacturing partners globally as required, reducing and eliminating shortages.
7. Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and greater team monitoring, managing and driving the OEM to assure goals schedules are being met within planning segment.
8. Verify fulfillment of build/ship.
9. Work with Finance, Sales planning, Sourcing, Engineering and other teams to monitor inventory positions and report budget.
10. Be responsible for report generation and distribution.
11. Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings.
12. Promote process improvement and standardization of across all sites in the network.

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering or related field and 2 year(s) of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. 2 year(s) of experience in supply chain management.
The pay range for this position in North Reading, MA is $ 68,411/year to $86,100/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by North Reading, MA Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via Amazon's internal or external careers site.
