Role: The role will lead the overall Amazon Turkey Third Party Fulfillment Centers Operations. The role will be a mix of strategic thinking (planning for the next 2-3 years on the key focus areas), tactical overview (planning for sales event/peaks, ramping up of capacities) and operational execution (day to day operations focus to ensure high bar customer experience). This is a people leadership role managing a team. The role would involve the following:

  1. Laying out the overall strategy for 3PL Fulfillment Center operations
  2. Develop and grow the leadership team as we scale up the operations in the country
  3. Lead the daily operations, drive operational excellence while at the same time planning and managing sales events/peaks
  4. Responsible for key metrics on safety, people, operations, costs and quality

We are looking for somebody who is keen on working in fast-paced environment, thinking of new and innovative solutions to increase the bar on customer experience, while also willing to go into daily metrics and deep dive into root causes. The role is a mix of strategic, tactical and operational aspects.

Key job responsibilities
-Manage and control performance, quality, cost and capacity of External Fulfillment Logistics provider (3PL)
-Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL
-Lead network design strategy, process improvement, commercial and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10-15 years of Logistics/supply chain/operations experience
  • Team leadership experience in a managerial position in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business judgment, with a track record of successfully delivering quantifiable results
  • Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, exceptional strategic and organizational abilities
  • Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support and adhere to scope of requirements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Able to work flexible, non-traditional schedules

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
