Do you enjoy creating beautiful design work that will be seen by Amazon employees across Europe and even the world? Amazon is seeking a talented and experienced Design Lead to join the Creative Services Team supporting Operations Internal Communications (OIC) for Europe.
The right candidate will join our team of UK-based communications experts to create engaging, on-brand content that effectively informs and inspires our 200,000+ European employees who fulfill orders and deliver smiles for Amazon customers every day.
While the Lead Graphic Designer will focus their work on the European audience, they will also have the opportunity to regularly Think Big and create visual assets and systems that are used in global campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who can manage multiple projects, some on tight deadlines, and communicate professionally with stakeholders. They must have a strong individual sense of aesthetics and be able to bring elevated ideas to the table. In addition, they should have the ability to work with outside agencies to oversee compelling designs and to drive our partners to maintain our high design bar. This position requires intrinsic design acumen, typographic skills, print and digital expertise, and acute attention to detail. Not only do you have the technical skills and a portfolio to back it up, you are a conceptual thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the team.
While the person in this role is a designer and an artist to be sure, above all, they are a visual communicator. We don't create art for its own sake, we design in service of informing and educating our front-line employees. From physical posters in fulfillment centers to digital designs viewed on mobile phones, everything you create will communicate meaning to our audience.
This is an in-office role based in London, Shoreditch, — not a remote position.
If you're interested in this role, please apply and send your CV and portfolio (either with your CV or as a link to your online portfolio). We will only consider candidates who include a portfolio with their application.
