  Key job responsibilities
  As a Chip Design Engineer at Annapurna Labs (AWS), you’ll take ownership of real design blocks and drive their development through the full hardware lifecycle. Your responsibilities may include:
• Lead microarchitecture definition and implement logic blocks and data paths
• RTL coding and debug using System Verilog and industry-standard tools
• Drive synthesis, timing analysis, and timing-closure activities to achieve high-performance, timing-clean designs
• Oversee design reviews, sign-off processes, and tapeout preparation
• Partner with Verification and Emulation teams on test plans, coverage reviews, and debug
• Ensure quality and reliability validation, meeting AWS’s rigorous hardware standards
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product Definition, Verification, Software, and Physical Design teams
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple projects
  You’ll own multiple stages of the chip development cycle - from architecture and coding to validation and production - while delivering hardware deployed at massive scale across the world’s largest cloud.

Basic Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in micro-architecture and RTL design (Verilog / System Verilog)
• End-to-end ownership of design blocks across the full chip development lifecycle, from design through verification, physical design, software and production.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Tcl
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills with ability to own complex units
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale IPs (millions of gates)
• Experience with industry-standard protocols such as AXI, PCIe, Networking, Encryption, or Storage
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
• Familiarity with UVM-based verification environments
