Are you passionate about developing impactful Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategies and novel customer solutions? Are you excited to engage with the AI community—AI researchers, developers building AI products, roboticists, data scientists, and innovative entrepreneurs in startups as well as large enterprises?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and motivated technical leader for the role of Director of AI Specialist Solution Architecture for our worldwide Go-to-Market (GTM) organization. You will develop industry-leading cloud-based solutions to grow the AI computing business across our comprehensive portfolio including AI services (Sage Maker), Amazon Quick Suite, and AI developer tools (Kiro, Agent Core, and related technologies). Working closely with engineering teams, you will enable new capabilities for customers to develop and deploy AI workloads on AWS.
In this role, you will lead and develop a global team of AI Solutions Architects, setting the vision for market development, sales enablement, and solution architecture. You will drive customer-centric value propositions and demonstrations spanning end-to-end managed services, AI/ML frameworks (data ingestion, wrangling, training, inference, MLOps, model lifecycle management), data platform integration, generative AI applications, and enterprise AI productivity tools on AWS cloud.
You possess the business and technical background to drive engagement at the highest levels—from startups to large enterprises. You articulate the potential and challenges of AI frameworks to both engineering teams and C-Level executives, with deep familiarity across classical and state-of-the-art AI solutions, generative AI applications, enterprise productivity tools, and target AI use cases in the cloud.
As a technically deep thought leader, you will shape the customer solutions-focused skills of your team and the broader SA community. You excel at building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and innovation, while developing future leaders through mentorship and promotion assessments. You have extensive experience working with GTM teams and work across organizations to realize the full potential of stand-alone and integrated AI solutions. You embrace learning and introducing new technologies to help colleagues and customers adopt new solutions, with thought leadership that looks beyond technology to the value it creates for customers.
You are adept at partnering with AWS services teams, field solutions architecture, sales, marketing, business development, and professional services, while representing your team to executive management. You serve as a strategic advisor to customers, industry, and company leaders, passionate about establishing the company standard for AI solution architecture and helping organizations understand best practices for operating on AWS.
