About the team
The Operations Engineering function manages the execution and testing/commissioning of all Cap Ex equipment scope. This is usually in the form of MHE (Material Handling Equipment). The exceptions are building infrastructure/utilities equipment (transformers, HVAC etc.) handled by D&C, and Amazon Robotics which is handled by the AR team.
The Operations Engineering (Ops Eng) team also works closely with Solutions engineering whom manage equipment design and procurement process. Combined, these teams are responsible for the entire life-cycle of the Cap Ex equipment scope for new building launches, retrofits and conversions.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar Engineering field (except Computer Science)
- Penultimate year student pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree
- Able to complete full time internship in summer 2026 from 7th Dec 2026 – 19th Feb 2027
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D
