Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks a Supply Chain Manager to support procurement operations and strategic initiatives across our enterprise. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high impact projects while developing expertise in supply chain and operational excellence.

The Supply Chain Manager supports initiatives spanning organizational projects, special projects, and transformation within procurement operations. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, supply chain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, optimizing procedures and processes to advance GPO's mission.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Execute initiatives with limited guidance, working tactically while learning to think strategically across GPO operations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Operations, Transportation, Procurement, Finance, Risk, Business Strategy, Technology, and Engineering to deliver business improvements from initiation through implementation
  • Develop metrics and reporting to track performance and support continuous improvement across the organization
  • Analyze data using advanced Excel and SQL to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Influence leaders within the organization by working across multiple stakeholder teams and functions
  • Support process improvements by implementing solutions that optimize operational excellence procedures
  • Serve as primary escalation point to formulate solutions for operational problems

About the team
The Global Procurement Organization manages procurement operations across Amazon's diverse business units, driving efficiency, innovation, and value creation through world-class procurement capabilities that support Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook Ups) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
