Strategic Planning & Business Intelligence

Collaborate on design, development, and maintenance of forecasting models, metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive key business decisions for AWS India

Lead central annual planning process including goal distribution, KPI setting, budgeting, and ongoing forecasting for AWS India operations
-
Contribute to strategic planning and translate strategic vision into executable annual plans with hands-on project execution

Establish and maintain forecasting models to minimize business risks and maximize growth opportunities in the Indian market

AI Transformation & Process Innovation
-
Transform business processes and operational tools to leverage AI capabilities and drive the organization into the AI era

Lead implementation of AI-powered analytics, automation, and decision-making tools across business operations

Drive adoption of generative AI and machine learning solutions to optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes
-
Design and implement scalable processes and procedures that accommodate business growth in volume, complexity, and geographic dispersion

Data Analytics & Reporting

Project manage and lead development of routine and ad-hoc analytics reports for senior management on business development initiatives and performance metrics

Dive deep into large data sets to identify trends, mitigate business risks, and assess downstream impacts of strategic actions

Develop expertise in sales operations tools including CRM, BI systems, and compensation platforms

Drive improvements to reporting tools, methods, and processes to increase availability and granularity of actionable data

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Partner with AWS business development teams to understand customer service effectiveness and drive strategic business direction

Collaborate actively with Data Warehouse/BI, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation teams

Manage business exceptions and escalations, serving as liaison with key stakeholders across regions and business units

Act as trusted advisor for India GSO team, leveraging data and analyses to deliver business insights and develop strategies

Operational Excellence & Execution

Execute components of territory planning, sales quota setting, compensation management, revenue planning, and headcount planning
-
Manage business planning on behalf of assigned field teams and key stakeholders
-
Support MBO target setting, budgeting processes, and goal measurement across all 20 industry verticals

Drive development and execution of demand generation campaigns and propose improvements to increase business effectiveness

Performance Management & Optimization
-
Monitor and analyze performance against goals, providing insights on business health to influence management decisions

Segment business goals and measure goal attainment across different verticals and regions
-
Create simple, scalable solutions to complex business problems while maintaining operational efficiency
-
Communicate complex analytical results clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience developing business analytics or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
