Amazon Kindle team is looking for is looking for an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric team player to help us continue to revolutionize how customers buy and read books. The ideal candidate has a track record of strong negotiation, relationship building, and analytical skills, ability to recommend and execute a vision, and build programs and features from the ground up. You will be able to influence across multiple company organizations, be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker and have a history of delivering results. You will establish and drive new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with publishers. You will be customer focused, entrepreneurial, a proven self-starter, and have the demonstrated ability to invent.
Within this role, you will:

Be an expert relationship manager and communicator, who works closely with publishers up to C-level to ensure Amazon customers can find any book in our store, download it quickly at a great price and have an excellent experience reading it.

Be responsible for specific publisher level metrics around selection, subscription participation, and profitability

Become an ebooks expert who understands industry trends, the competitive environment and readers’ needs - and innovates in response.

Work closely with leaders across the Kindle organization – locally and globally – to ensure we continue to develop new services and products.

Identify opportunities for innovation and automation

You will facilitate strong relationships and initiate discussions with vendors to increase selection and engage them in growth opportunities.

By analyzing customer data, as well as the market segment in general, you will identify selection gaps and seek out new vendors.

You will help shaping and managing promotional strategy for the vendors, delivering compelling offers to our customers that drive profitable growth for Amazon.

You will seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.

You will work closely with the marketing specialist, in-stock and product management teams for your category.

The performance of your product category, customer experience and operational efficiency will determine your success
