• Key job responsibilities
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and automated test cases
• Build test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation test execution
• Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features
• Create and maintain automation scripts, and execute automated test cases.
• Debug/Troubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
• Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks
• Improve test mechanisms and best practices

About the team
The Amazon Emerging Devices Software (EDS) is part of the Amazon Devices team. We design and engineer high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Echo devices. Our portfolio also includes innovative devices like Amazon Echo buds, Echo Frames and Echo Auto. What will you help us create next?

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience scripting or coding
• Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
