We are looking for a smart and driven Product Manager to join our Retail team in Egypt, focusing on AI and Tools. In this role, you will be responsible for defining product vision and strategy, leading cross-functional teams to build AI-powered solutions, and driving innovation in retail tools and automation.
The role will have responsibility for identifying opportunities to enhance customer and business outcomes through AI-driven products or Tools, defining product requirements and roadmaps, and partnering with Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams to deliver scalable solutions. The right candidate thrives in a high energy environment where tactical execution and strategic product planning are expected to be driven in parallel.
The successful candidate possesses strong product management skills, deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, and experience translating business needs into technical requirements. The position requires an individual who can make data-driven decisions in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. The candidate continuously learns about emerging AI technologies and contributes to product innovation and best practices.
- Key job responsibilities
- Lead product development for AI-powered solutions or Retail tools, directly conducting user research, writing detailed product requirements, and creating wireframes and prototypes to validate solutions
- Collaborate directly with Engineering and Data Science teams in sprint planning and daily standups, reviewing code implementations, testing models / implementations, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Conduct hands-on analysis of workflow inefficiencies using SQL and Python, build proof-of-concept automations, and work directly with business users to test and iterate on Retail Tools
- Own end-to-end delivery of product features from conception to launch, including writing user stories, managing backlog prioritization, conducting UAT sessions, and directly supporting go-live activities.
- Build and maintain product dashboards, conduct A/B test analysis, perform data deep-dives to identify improvement opportunities, and directly implement product experiments to optimize performance
- Stay hands-on with emerging AI technologies through experimentation and prototyping, actively participate in technical design reviews, and work directly with customers to gather feedback and validate product decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
