At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.

The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazon’s scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable.

We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist, Air Quality to serve as a deep subject matter expert (SME) in air quality across a wide variety of business and industrial operations. You will develop strategies that prioritize interventions for the greatest positive impact on our communities.

You will work with Science and Tech teams to design measurement and risk mapping strategies that are consistent with both leading-edge industry knowledge and frameworks and business use cases. You will distribute centralized guidance on air quality initiatives.

You will engage with third party companies/startups to select and evaluate technologies and tools for air pollution measurement and mitigation, serve as a technical expert and manager in driving pilots of those technologies, and work with businesses to enable large-scale deployment to support Amazon’s air quality goals.

  • Key job responsibilities

  • Represent Amazon in external partnerships designed to accelerate our progress on air quality.
  • Drive business and WWS technology pilots.
