- Build the financial infrastructure that powers Ring's next strategic transformation—a marketplace unlocking the value of 70MM+ cameras and 20PB of daily data. As Sr. Product Manager
- Technical for Ring Appstore Billing & Subscriptions, you'll own the end-to-end monetization platform enabling third-party developers to build and sell specialized applications on Ring's Appstore.
You'll work at the intersection of marketplace strategy, payment systems, and third party developers—building the revenue engine that enables Ring to create new business models, accelerate the Ring flywheel, and deliver vertical-specific solutions our customers need. This role requires deep technical expertise in billing platforms, subscription management, and marketplace economics, combined with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Key job responsibilities
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll:
- Own the P&L for Ring Appstore's billing infrastructure, including revenue share models, subscription lifecycle management, and developer settlement processes
- Build from 0-to-1 a scalable billing platform using Stripe Connect, supporting diverse pricing models (per-device, per-location, tiered, usage-based) for hundreds of developers
- Drive strategic decisions on marketplace economics, including the 10% platform fee structure, transaction processing, and infrastructure cost recovery
- Lead complex technical integrations across Ring's billing systems, payment processing, tax compliance (Avalara), and accounting infrastructure
- Shape developer experience by designing self-service billing tools in the Ring Developer Portal, enabling seamless onboarding and financial management
- Ensure customer delight through consolidated invoicing, transparent pricing, and frictionless subscription management across Ring and third-party services
- Partner with senior leadership across Ring, Amazon, Legal, Finance, and Tax teams to deliver compliant, scalable financial operations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 5+ years of experience with payment systems, billing platforms, or subscription management products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in successful technology product work from ideation through launch
- Experience working with software developers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
