Key job responsibilities
As the Sr Technical Product Manager for Alexa AI Developer Tech, you will define the vision, product roadmap, and features for building conversational experiences leveraging spoken language technologies and machine learning. This includes enabling other teams in Alexa, other teams across Amazon, and external partners to create highly-engaging Alexa experiences and features that customers love using in their daily lives. You will create business requirements documents and develop a long term roadmap for tools, documentation, and developer support. You will also be responsible for collaborating with and guiding a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to achieve your vision. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with superb analytic thinking and communication skills. A track record of defining market leading products that enable developers to bring their ideas to life is preferred.

A successful candidate will have passion for developers and experience in designing platform strategies. You have a background in software development and product management, specific to software platforms and ecosystems. You are highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively across multiple organizations, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high-quality, simple-to-use products and applications that developers and customers love.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, Quick Sight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
