We are looking for builder who are passionate about building secure and intuitive customer experiences and who love the challenge of building performant and robust systems at scale. Our systems manage hundreds of millions of customer records, and respond to millions of transactions per minute. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, know how to deliver, are innovative, and long for the opportunity to build solutions to challenging problems then we want you as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon's e Commerce Platform Identity Services group.

• Key job responsibilities
• Design and implement highly scalable authentication systems that can handle millions of transactions per minute
• Develop secure, performant solutions that protect customer identities across global platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate identity services into complex technical ecosystems
• Create and maintain robust, efficient code that meets the highest standards of reliability
• Continuously improve system performance, security, and user experience

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
