The Amazon Checkout Experience team is at the forefront of enhancing customer shopping experiences, working on Address & Checkout application services. We operate in a dynamic environment handling vast data volumes and building multi-tiered, low-latency distributed systems at scale.

About the Role:

We're seeking a full stack software development engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing highly resilient checkout solutions. You'll focus on optimizing system performance, ensuring code quality and testability, and conducting business investigations. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers and requires experience with large-scale applications. Success in this position demands a passion for engineering excellence and a commitment to operational excellence within the Amazon ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
