Fire TV, Advertising, and Appstore (FAA) is seeking a driven, strategic, and highly proactive Executive Assistant to provide executive support to two senior leaders.
This role serves as a strategic business partner, managing complex executive operations across the Devices Content & Advertising (DCA) and Global Marketing & Business (GMB) organizations. The position requires superior attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent organizational skills, and juggling multiple critical requests while proactively anticipating needs and driving improvements. High integrity, discretion with confidential information, and professionalism are essential.
The successful candidate will complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency, and take effective action while navigating ambiguity. Flexibility to change direction at a moment's notice is critical for success in this role. We work as a global team, partnering with internal and external stakeholders across different businesses. It is essential to have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently while building effective working relationships inside and outside of direct teams.
The ideal candidate will drive organizational effectiveness through the development and implementation of scalable processes, programs, and best practices that can be leveraged across the broader EA community.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Serve as strategic partner to senior leadership, identifying opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and drive operational excellence
  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling for multiple executives across time zones
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and new mechanisms
  • Coordinate team activities including staff meetings, all-teams, offsites, and events
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with highest discretion
  • Schedule and manage cost-effective domestic and international travel
  • Attend key meetings, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Create expense reports and manage budget tracking
  • Partner with leaders to understand priorities and build processes to enhance team effectiveness
  • Serve as liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders
  • Build collaborative relationships with Executive Assistants across the company and with critical external partners
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same

A day in the life
As an Executive Assistant in FAA, you'll act as a strategic partner to leadership, managing complex calendars across global time zones, coordinating high-stakes meetings, and handling confidential information with discretion. You'll work closely with a fun & collaborative EA community while driving improvements for a geographically dispersed team.

About the team
Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and projects quickly, and proactively act without having to know the total picture. You will learn organizational structures and objectives of the teams you support, as well as build a strong internal network. You will apply superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, and most importantly, grace under pressure. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunities for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Experience with end-to-end project management
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
  • Experience with work space planning/management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
