The Solutions Development Manager is a thought leader who can analyze customer needs, build go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and develop procurement solutions tailored to specific B2B customer segments. They will establish scalable best practices and enablement programs that increase sales adoption of managed spend solutions across various customer verticals. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, product management, or complex business strategy, with an equal ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and present to c-level executives across a variety of business functions.

- Key job responsibilities
- Analyze B2B customer needs, identify critical requirements, build procurement solutions for specific customer industry and product segments
- Gather customer intelligence from active deals about customer procurement needs; identify patterns and build case to invest in capabilities that address growth opportunities
- Drive product vision for critical partner teams, including product basket deal formation
- Create and own GTM strategy for custom price negotiated managed spend deals
- Establish best practices and drive enablement to increase sales adoption and grow negotiated managed spend deals at scale
- Create and deploy category specific GTM strategies across multiple Customer verticals
- Build and lead the mechanism to ensure post-launch deal execution meets enterprise customer expectations
About the team
The Managed Spend team develops and executes effective sales strategies to win the largest/most-complex contract spend deals across the Amazon Business customer base.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience and/or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- 3+ years of using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool experience
- Master's degree in Business or Economics or comparable work experience
- Experience in developing and implementing Business to Business (B2B) customer solutions strategies
- Experience in creating, analyzing, and/or submitting RFx for enterprise level organizations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
