Help build the ultra-fast delivery network of tomorrow. We’re hiring a Senior Capacity Manager to lead DSP expansion for Sub Same Day (SSD) and Quick Commerce (QC) – Amazon’s fastest-growing delivery channels.
This is a brand-new role with national potential. You’ll be the first to build structured DSP capacity for these speed programs, enabling rapid but controlled scale across new and existing nodes. Your work will shape how ultra-fast delivery is executed in Japan, balancing growth with operational discipline and partner sustainability.
-
Own DSP capacity strategy and execution for SSD and QC delivery.
-
Build new planning mechanisms, models, and reporting from scratch.
-
Launch and scale DSPs in speed-eligible locations, working with multiple stakeholders such as Fleet, Delivery Partner Management, Planning, and Tech.
-
Translate emerging demand into delivery capability with pace and precision.
-
Influence leadership through structured insights and scenario-based plans.
If you're energised by ownership, fast-moving programs, and the opportunity to define how speed delivery works within the DSP channel, this is the role to make your mark.
Key job responsibilities
As the Senior DSP Capacity Manager for SSD and QC, you will own the end-to-end capacity planning and execution for Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery programs within the DSP channel. This includes launching new nodes, scaling DSPs in existing markets, and developing mechanisms to translate high-velocity demand into sustainable delivery coverage.
You will:
-
Lead weekly capacity planning cycles for SSD/QC DSPs, including short-term execution and long-term growth
-
Design and deploy scalable mechanisms to manage fleet availability, DSP launches, and event-based ramping
-
Partner with cross-functional teams (Fleet, DPM, Planning, Geospatial, and Central Ops) to align delivery capability with demand
-
Proactively identify capacity risks (e.g. van shortages, hiring gaps, node constraints) and own mitigation planning
-
Deliver clear, data-driven reporting for senior stakeholders through WBRs, DBRs, and program updates
-
Act as the primary capacity contact for SSD/QC within the DSP channel, setting standards for execution quality, speed, and partner sustainability
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that requires structured thinking, operational intuition, and a strong ability to lead from ambiguity.
