  • Design and implement automated systems and scalable mechanisms to improve inventory positioning and supply chain efficiency
  • Identify root causes of instock defects and lead cross-functional efforts to implement sustainable solutions
  • Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to align inventory strategies with broader business goals and customer needs
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing best practices for inventory management processes

A day in the life
Your day typically begins with reviewing key inventory reports to identify potential issues requiring immediate attention. You'll spend time analyzing data patterns and generating action plans to address supply chain defects, followed by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement your solutions. The afternoon might involve leading project meetings for your larger initiatives, developing automated tools to scale your impact, and coordinating with various business areas to ensure alignment on inventory strategies.

About the team
You'll be joining a collaborative team of four Instock Managers led by a Senior Instock Manager. Together, you form a critical part of the Total Consumer Electronics and Books organization, working to ensure product availability across these key categories. Our team prides itself on building strong relationships across business units and driving significant improvements to Amazon's supply chain operations. We're focused on developing innovative solutions that enhance customer experience through optimal inventory positioning and availability.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of analytic tools
  • Bachelor's degree, or experience using data to influence business decisions
  • +3 YOE in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science or a related field, or experience working directly with engineering teams
