We are hiring a Program Manager to build and own the Supply Chain design and execution charter for our new business model. The incumbent will be responsible to building Supply Chain processes across Inbound, Transportation and Outbound, and drive Operational excellence. The incumbent will also be driving high impact customer experience and cost optimization projects. These projects will typically involve designing and building complex new processes, driving technology solutions, driving large cost reduction or efficiency improvement initiatives or solving for scale up.
The incumbent will -

  1. Design Supply Chain processes, planning workstreams and drive automation
  2. Work with finance, business, transportation and other Amazon teams to build processes and drive execution
  3. Responsible for conducting external and internal benchmarking exercises to guide Supply Chain decisions
  4. Create a plan and manage execution to deliver results
  5. Develop a roadmap and metrics to measure progress of the initiatives they own. Own writing reports/documents that detail the progress to leadership on a frequent basis.
  6. Liaise across functions to drive negotiation, alignment and take logical decisions while maintaining high speed of execution
    Key job responsibilities
    · Accumulate data from different sources, conduct analysis, recommend solutions, build action plan and drive execution.
    · Communicate wth cross functional leads (Selection, In-stock, FC, Ops) to support operations and site execution.
    · Regularly audit the sites for operational conformance, norms of capacity planning and standard operating practices.
    · Drive execution of critical capacity planning projects to enhance network capacity and optimize bin slotting changes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook Ups) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
