Over 2 million Sellers in 10 countries list their products for sale on the Amazon Marketplace. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. These Sellers offer hundreds of millions of unique products providing a broad and diverse inventory of products from Books, Electronics and Apparel to Consumables and beyond. In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list, make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries.

As a Provider Manager in the EU 3P Compliance organization, you will join a dynamic team at the forefront of this vision to build a global marketplace. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with the industry’s leading compliance service Providers and supporting their growth with Amazon. You will build and implement comprehensive business continuity frameworks. You will be responsible for driving excellence within your scope and across the organization to deliver against Amazon’s high bar on Seller experience and Provider experience.

The Candidate should be comfortable working in highly ambiguous environments. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of working on projects to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong time management, and project management skills. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is attention to detail and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your experience should highlight your focus on continuous improvement while you build systems and mechanisms that scale to serve Seller and Provider needs.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Amazon’s compliance service Providers

  2. Ensure a positive Provider experience by diving deep into their business, effectively troubleshooting any issues, and helping them grow in line with Amazon’s compliance needs

  3. Define & lead negotiations with service Providers in line with team goals on pricing, new business opportunities and launches.

  4. Scale our Provider pipeline, from conducting outreach to new Providers to successfully onboarding them to our product

  5. Define and own the governance and mechanisms for your Provider engagements, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to elevate management processes across the organization

  6. Report progress to leadership through Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and Weekly Program Reviews (WPR)

  7. Secure business continuity operations implementation and training of internal teams (SOPs, policies, terms and conditions, goals tracking and reporting). Driving alignment with key stakeholders as needed, including communication, Seller Account Management and marketing managers

  8. Collaborate with internal teams, like Product or legal, to propose & implement initiatives to raise the bar on our Seller & Provider experiences

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Account Management, Sales, Vendor Management, Business Development, E-Commerce, Retail, Consulting, Business-to-Business (B2B), Sales Operations or Shared Service Operations
  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to independently generate actionable insights supporting your Providers and team's best practices.
  • Experience working effectively and communicating clearly across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration, or Associate's degree or above
  • Experience working in partner management within e-commerce or technology sectors
  • Experience MS Office applications with working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • BS or BA in supply chain, vendor/account management, operations, finance, economics or related fields.
