The Rest of the World (RoW) organization’s charter is to rapidly expand Amazon Stores presence globally, partnering closely with category management, business, technology, and product teams across Amazon, to deliver the world’s largest selection to customers around the globe. Within RoW, the Global Purchasing Program's vision is to leverage our global footprint to offer more selection to worldwide customers.

  • Enhance Supplier Experience: Advocate for improvements in supplier experience by designing and implementing scalable, long-term solutions that benefit both vendors and Amazon.
  • Support New Product Launches: Test new product launches, providing flexible and scalable solutions that accommodate diverse business models, supply chain requirements, and regulatory frameworks across countries.
  • Educate and Onboard Vendors: Lead vendor education initiatives to highlight opportunities in emerging markets, helping them optimize their strategies for success in new geographies.
  • Build Vendor Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with senior leaders of partnered vendors, driving mutual growth and optimization of the joint import business.
