Key job responsibilities

As a Sr SDE, you are expected to have expertise in full-stack software development, including customer-facing applications, and backend services essential for efficient last-mile delivery operations. You must have the vision and technical expertise to build solutions that help DSPs and Amazon in enhancing vehicle safety and compliance, and optimizing vehicle maintenance and utilization there by reducing the total cost of operations.

You will be responsible for the overall architecture of Partner Connection Technology tech team owned systems, ensuring the team builds the right solutions that address customer requirements and business use cases. You make critical decisions on architectural components, technology choices, and design patterns across the teams and in design forums promoting engineering best practices. You collaborate with the SDM to adopt best practices for operational and engineering excellence. You resolve disagreements by leading inclusive, constructive dialog with team members and related teams.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
