Amazon Ads Business Development is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Amazon Ads Strategy and BD team to help develop and execute strategic initiatives and partnerships within the Video and Streaming TV sector. This role will collaborate with Amazon Ads management, cross business-unit BD teams, and other corporate functions to drive partnership opportunities. The candidate will help develop and execute important partnerships while working closely with product and sales leaders in the advertising organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to drive innovative initiatives and build cross-functional relationships inside one of the world's most innovative, customer-centric companies.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional counterparts, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Strong judgment, ability to earn trust, and comfort working in ambiguous situations are essential for this role.
- Key job responsibilities
- Support the development of commercial strategies and partnership ideas that drive business impact for the Ads business
- Help evaluate new ideas based on business potential, opportunity size, and strategic fit
- Work with senior commercial, technical, and product stakeholders to build alignment around new ideas and initiatives
- Manage relationships with important partner companies in the sector; help cultivate trust and drive alignment with Amazon's priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and management to execute on relationships
- Support complex deal negotiations and partnership structures
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop business cases and present recommendations to leadership
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
