招聘
Amazon Music Japan is seeking a strategic, insight-driven Brand and Social Lead to define how Amazon Music shows up in Japan’s cultural and competitive landscape. This role owns Japan’s brand narrative foundations and social strategy, while directly leading priority brand initiatives and integrated campaigns.
As a senior individual contributor, you will set strategic direction and personally own high-impact brand projects end-to-end — from local customer insight and brief development through launch and post-mortem. You will operate hands-on in shaping campaign direction, reviewing creative, and guiding execution to ensure cohesive storytelling, cultural relevance, and measurable business impact across campaigns and tentpole moments.
- Key job responsibilities
- Define and evolve Japan’s brand narrative architecture, translating global brand direction into locally resonant strategy grounded in market and competitive insight
- Lead the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns across tentpoles, partnerships, and content launches, ensuring cohesive storytelling across touchpoints
- Own end-to-end social strategy across priority platforms, including operating model, content pillars, and channel roles aligned with business objectives
- Oversee creative, media, and social agency partners to ensure high-quality execution, brand consistency, and timely delivery
- Bring a social-first perspective to integrated marketing initiatives and collaborate on amplification planning
- Navigate global and local stakeholder alignment, including facilitating leadership reviews and cross-functional planning forums
- Represent Japan brand strategy in global discussions and ensure effective local implementation
- Define success metrics for brand and social initiatives, conduct structured post-campaign analysis, and translate insights into actionable improvements
A day in the life
You will operate at the intersection of brand strategy and campaign execution. A typical week may include shaping the narrative for upcoming campaigns, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on direction, and facilitating leadership reviews to drive clarity and decisions.
You will review creative concepts and social plans with agency partners, ensure high-quality execution across channels, and analyze performance trends to inform continuous improvement. This role balances long-term brand roadmap development with hands-on ownership of priority initiatives, translating strategy into measurable in-market impact.
Success requires comfort navigating ambiguity, influencing diverse stakeholders, and moving fluidly between strategic thinking and operational delivery.
