The Creators team goal is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce influencers, associates (publishers, bloggers, and more) and their content. The Creators Business Development team collaborates with strategic customers to build new, industry-specific partnership opportunities that directly impact and transform the way our Creators can partner, create, and earn at scale.
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, Sr. Business Development leader to drive growth for Amazon Home & Lifestyles (H&L). This role will serve as the single-threaded owner for the H&L creator growth strategy, working cross-functionally with Creators and Home stakeholders to set category-level priorities, size opportunities, and drive execution through existing creator programs and mechanisms. As the H&L lead, you will be responsible for the strategy, experimentation, and execution to drive measurable category growth for Amazon through the Creators channel. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical, business-first approach to partnerships, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work independently. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and working closely and constructively with Retail, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Tech partners.
As a leader for this segment within the Creators Team, you:
- Drive business development growth strategy that aligns with overall Home, Creators, and Amazon strategies.
- Build pipeline of new and existing creators, opportunity size, and prioritize to deliver growth strategy.
- Pitch and negotiate to recruit and/or drive special deal terms with new and existing creators, including leveraging economic and non-economic incentives (e.g. tech, marketing, and program opportunities).
- Monitor and optimize creator performance to achieve goals. Develop reporting methodologies and own data analysis and measurement.
- Represent the voice of the customer and creator to all stakeholders, driving for cross-functional solutions and tech innovations to meet customers' and creators' most critical needs.
- Influence internal and external stakeholder leaders of all levels across business, marketing, finance, program, product, and tech, including to seek roadmap resourcing.
- Create both simplified, scalable solutions and Think Big opportunities for creators, including identifying net new opportunities to drive growth.
- Own the Home & Lifestyles creator growth strategy, aligned to category priorities, investment plans, and annual growth goals.
- Identify, size, and prioritize creator partnership opportunities based on business impact, scalability, and long-term value creation.
- Build pipeline of new and existing creators, including opportunity sizing and prioritization, to deliver growth strategy.
- Pitch and negotiate to recruit and/or drive special deal terms with new and existing creators, including structuring economic and non-economic levers (e.g. investment models, incentives, access, marketing, and tech capabilities).
- Monitor and optimize creator performance to achieve goals. Own reporting frameworks, success metrics, and ongoing performance reviews.
- Represent the voice of the customer and creator to all stakeholders, while also representing category needs back to the Creators organization, driving cross-functional solutions and tech innovations.
- Influence internal and external stakeholder leaders of all levels across Retail, Marketing, Finance, Program, Product, and Tech, including to seek roadmap resourcing.
- Create both simplified, scalable solutions and Think Big opportunities for creators, including developing repeatable playbooks and operating models to drive growth.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
