Join Amazon's SSD Micromobility team as a Senior Program Manager, where you will play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling our last-mile delivery operations using innovative micromobility solutions. This role focuses on strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer experiences in highly dense urban environments.
As a Senior Program Manager for SSD Micromobility, you'll take end-to-end ownership of route scheduling, volume planning, and middle mile optimization for our New York micromobility network. You will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, balancing long-term planning with tactical operational needs while driving continuous improvement across our delivery network.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Routing & Topology, DOT partnerships, DSP Business Coaches, and Finance. Your analytical expertise will identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance delivery efficiency while maintaining our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain 13-week rolling volume forecasts by anchor point and DSP, identifying risks and flexibility constraints with trade-off analysis for major decisions
- Create strategic documentation with clear business impact analysis, elevating operational details to strategic narratives for leadership decision-making
- Build and maintain metrics dashboards tracking OP Volume, Planned Volume, Delivered Volume, and Forecast Accuracy
- Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities
Operational Excellence
- Own route scheduling operations for SSD Micromobility network
- Manage SUI uploads, caps management, and anchor point capacity
- Develop systematic solutions to operational challenges
Cross-Functional Program Management:
- Lead weekly planning review meetings with stakeholders across SSD Micromobility, Site Ops, OTR Ops, and DSP Business Consultants
- Create comprehensive RACI matrices, SOPs, and knowledge transfer documentation for operational processes
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate complex operational situations to senior leadership with clear recommendations and trade-off analysis
- Partner with DOT, routing teams, topology teams, and external stakeholders on micromobility initiatives
- Influence cross-functional teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities
- Present data-driven insights to support operational investment decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
