Position: Professional Services III (multiple positions available)
Location: Seattle, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Architect and implement infrastructure and automation by leveraging insights from machine learning, data mining, usability studies, and customer feedback to enhance security and compliance in cloud applications.
2. Engage with customers to assess business needs and provide architectural guidance on designing and optimizing AWS services and tools that align with their cloud transformation goals.
3. Apply deep technical expertise in cloud computing and security best practices, including IAM, WAF, IPS, DDoS mitigation, and SIEM, to design and implement scalable and resilient security architectures using infrastructure as code (IaC).
4. Develop automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Bash, Ruby, and Perl to streamline cloud operations, security enforcement, and deployment workflows.
5. Collaborate with senior AWS leadership to present technical insights, advocate for customer-centric feature enhancements, and influence the AWS service roadmap based on field experience and customer feedback.
6. Create and contribute to reusable technical assets, including reference architectures, best practice guides, automation frameworks, and white papers, to accelerate AWS adoption for customers, partners, and internal teams.
7. Domestic travel up to 15% to perform role responsibilities may be required. 100% telecommuting permitted; work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computing and Digital Media, or related discipline and 2 years of experience in job offered or in software engineering related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computing and Digital Media, or related discipline followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered or in software engineering related occupation.
Experience must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
1. Gathering and analyzing requirements
2. Designing and developing software applications
3. Coding and testing computer programs
4. High-level designs
5. Low-level designs
Domestic travel up to 15% to perform role responsibilities may be required. 100% telecommuting permitted; work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $153,600/year to $207,800/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
